NSI is the largest producer of sand and gravel in Denmark and have purchased a TS-842 Radial Telescopic Conveyor to work in conjunction with a mobile crushing plant, producing road base material to a large number of infrastructural projects in the city of Copenhagen.

Advantages of Using Telestack Equipment

The TS-842 purchased by NSI is well equipped. It is installed with a sophisticated PLC system where the operator can select the number of degrees the conveyor should travel radially. By swivelling radially from side to side in a radius of up to 270° the customer can now produce up to 60,000m³ (78,480 yds³) which equals approximately 97,000 tonnes of road base material before the operator needs to move the crusher and the Telestack TS-842.

The mobility options of the units allows for the Operator to utilise this technology anywhere on site, ensuring a high-production capacity and a 30% more stockpile capacity on the same footprint, in comparison to fixed length / height conveyors.

The radial telescopic stacker is one of the most cost efficient and effective ways of stockpiling material on the market. The reduction of segregation, degradation, contamination and compaction when stockpiling ensures ‘in specification’ material for any application.

Other key benefits are that the mobile radial telescopic conveyors eliminates the need for wheel loaders to build stockpiles therefore reducing labour, fuel costs, carbon footprint and maintenance costs and with less site traffic movements, the potential for human error is reduced. They can be fully automated also reducing labour as well as eliminating the double handling of the material.


Tailored Options Specifically for your Needs

The Telestack radial telescopic conveyor range offers a series of options with the length extending from 25m up to 58m (80-190ft), stockpile heights of up to 20 metres high (65ft) and the capacity of up to 3,000 tonnes per hour (depending on material density).

There are many options available with Telestack conveyors to suit each individual application. The radial telescopic range units are fully mobile with optional tracks and integrated genset for ultimate flexibility when operating with mobile equipment. This is also enhanced with the all function operator control.

The radial telescopic units can also easily integrate into a fixed plant system to ensure a quality finished product and large stockpile capacity reducing segregation, degradation, contamination and compaction of the material.

In addition, there is also a range of environmental dust suppression measures options available such as galvanised or canvas dust covers, telescopic dust covers, dust extraction, rubber ‘sock’ chutes, water suppression and many more.
